🗺️ Canvassing Basics & Area Management Guide

This guide walks you through how to effectively use NomoHub’s canvassing tools — from exploring the map to managing dispositions — so you can organize your outreach and follow-ups like a pro.

Step 1: Open the Canvassing Map

  1. Navigate to the Canvassing section.

  2. Click on the Map view.


Step 2: Choose a Canvassing Mode

You can toggle between three canvassing modes depending on your strategy:

  • Knock Mode

  • Storm Mode

  • Hybrid Mode

Choose the mode that fits your current outreach efforts.


Step 3: Navigate to Assigned Areas

  1. Click on Areas Mode to view areas assigned by your manager.

  2. Select an area to zoom in automatically for quick access.


Step 4: Apply Filters for Better Visibility

  1. Use the Filters feature to customize what you see on the map.

  2. Example: Turn on Rent Protection to display rental properties.

  3. Click Save — icons (like R for rental) will appear on homes accordingly.


Step 5: Access Homeowner Information

Click any home bubble on the map to view:

  • Homeowner’s name, email, phone number

  • Credit score and age

  • Any additional custom data your organization tracks


Step 6: Understand and Use Dispositions

Dispositions help you categorize each interaction. Here are the key ones:

  • Go Back – Schedule a revisit (e.g., when a spouse is home)

  • Interested – Mark and assign a priority level

  • Not Qualified – Choose a reason for disqualification

  • Closed/Won – Track successfully closed deals (can be customized)

You can customize dispositions to match your company's workflow.


Step 7: Set and Track Follow-Ups

  1. After dispositioning homes, go to the Home tab.

  2. View your Follow-Ups, which include:

    • Interested

    • Go-backs

    • Inspections Needed

  3. This list lets you know exactly who to revisit.


Step 8: Manage Canvassing Areas via Filters

  1. Return to your canvassing Area on the map.

  2. Apply filters to focus on specific dispositions — e.g., show only homes marked as Interested.

This visual approach helps prioritize your visits.


Step 9: Review All Dispositions in Report View

  1. Go to Settings > Report > All Dispositions.

  2. Use the Filter tool to focus on a disposition type (e.g., "Interested").

  3. Click any entry in the list to be taken directly to that home.

This is helpful for managing interest-heavy leads efficiently.


Step 10: Track Closed Deals

  1. Use a custom disposition like Closed/Won for signed deals.

  2. These can also be filtered and reviewed from the Report section.
